Project Info

Project Info
Urban Alchemy is supporting young people to develop creative spaces that are as unique as they are; positively reclaiming outdoor spaces.

Urban Alchemy is challenging the increasingly negative view of young people through positively promoting young people's cultures, imagination and aspirations, Urban Alchemy aims to rekindle a sense of community in places where there is widespread fear and distrust.

Urban Alchemy will bridge the gaps between young people, youth services and cultural providers to find innovative ways of working together for the benefit of young people.

Stage 1: Recruitment - artists, young people and communities
Stage 2: Celebratrain - young people lead the first big event
Stage 3: Working in communities - young people bringing spaces to life
Stage 4: Bigger, bolder and brighter - 3 sites permanently transformed
