Space Invaders Open House
The Bridges Festival brings the Newcastle and Gateshead Quayside to life for a weekend of diverse and exciting performances and events alongside the banks of the River Tyne. This year Space Invaders are inviting you to come and explore the Old Police House in Gateshead.

Local young people from Gateshead and architecture graduates have been exploring the possibilities for the derelict Police House as a space for them to express their views on their lives and where they live.
The Old Police House will become home to creative installations, photographic exhibitions and you are invited to interact, explore and share some of you thoughts on the local area over a cupcake or two.
During the weekend there will be a variety of different ways to get involved with the space and have your say on the future for Gateshead.
